I love this so much to the point I am crying.
Actually the forehead kiss is SO MUCH MORE then making out. It's subtle, gentle and not driven by desires or whatever. None of us know what Xixi feels but the kiss gives a hint of a real emotion behind a straight (yes this is a pun) face. Most of us know characters pretty well, and Xixi is not a kind of guy (UNLIKE HE TIAN omg) who would just go for it all the way. He's probably super confused. Obviously he knew for a while now about Jian Yi's feelings but have never been directly confronted by them/him. Apart for that first kiss but hey that was just so clumsy.
Nevertheless. We're not gonna get sex. (from them at least CASUE HE TIAN OMG I WISH). The forehead kiss is a HUUGEE breakthrough. LET'S HOPE FOR MOORREEE
