Man, seeing Kotaro work so hard, pretty much raising his younger brothers, going to school and cleaning/cooking for Ayumi, makes me look at him in new light. He's a strong guy, sure not physically but mentally; he's responsible and dependable (something that is hard to find today). Now, he's doubting himself because Ayumi hasn't reassured him (I know he is supposed to be the aloof cold guy but still...). All he had to do was say "I like you too". People like to feel appreciated, whether it be work-related or being in a relationship with a significant other. Sometimes saying "thank you", "I appreciate you" or even "I love you" means a whole lot.

True. And truth be told I do prefer Kotaro much more. I like his slender body and clean haircut. I hate "Ayumu's(?)" style or lack of it...
