I couldn't agree more. The rape part was one thing, but the uke's awful, just AWFUL personality was too much. I didn't feel like he really even LOVED him! The storyline was too rushed as well. Which is such a pity, since I really did think this had potential when I started reading. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ
The 2nd story is so good. U can see true love, commitment, honesty and dream in one oneshot.
The first one is horrible though. I mean considering the settings and the thief theme, u would expect it should be more mysterious but no. And the characters, well, you have this arrogant, stubborn, whiny, spoiled, bratty and slutty uke. The seme is randomly in love with this uke for no reasons. he mangaka kept emphasizing that the uke was "good looking" but so what? Seriously, isn't everyone in the manga world "good looking". I find the uke's character so annoying till the very end. He's like some whiny 12 year old. If he was this "noble, shy, stubborn" character then maybe I would've liked the story. The seme and the sex scenes arent hot enough to compensate this. There is something wrong with the seme's head too, he raped the uke and insulted him bc its "exciting that way" I dont mind rape in yaoi but for this kind of reason, I was enraged.
