I think the ending of the second story was stupid cause any logical smart person would've just turned in the evidence and go to court with parents instead of giving them years left to live in peace and trying to reach the top before destroying them. Both have same ending but one is faster and requires less work, which would you choose? There was also the chance of him failing at becoming a top person and the longer the case is closed the harder it would be to put a crime on the parents. So I think the ending was stupid, if it was me I wouldn't even have cared about the friend cause he didn't help or do shit except give the evidence. Ok rant over
