I just found out that I am 7 months pregnant ( I am 30 years old and in a committed relationship of 10 years), and never really thought about being a mother. So I was wondering from moms out there or moms to be or really anyone, if i should stop reading yaoi. Do you think it would be detrimental to my baby if I continue or what? why should you stop? you dont do any harm to your baby. stop smoking or drinking but yaoi? everythink what makes you happy makes your baby happy too :)

Thats the thing, I dont smoke or drink, yaoi and sex was/is my only vice. I dont plan on showing my kid soft core porn but wouldnt reading yaoi be the same thing?
you don't have to but you could lessen your reading time and since the little one is already at 7 months, you can replace it with good old children's literature instead. or listen to music when you are idle. they had a good effect to children. you can make them know you are reading shounen ai when they were at the right age, no problem about that. but prioritize enriching education in a child's development stage.
well, that's just my opinion tho. also, i wanted to add that i dislike children when i'm in my teens and 20s but it really is different when you start to have your own.

I just found out this week, but since then I have cut back on yaoi and I have been reading shoujo mangas out loud. It is just a little crazy because in just a handful of weeks I will be a mom (⊙…⊙ ) I dont think it has set in yet. Thank you for the advice
