I think he graduated junior high. Might be wrong because i also questioned it. Went back and saw that minkyu was14 and in 7th year. And the blonde guy (forgot his name alreadt) was in his 9th year.
they first met when they were in middle school / junior high. since the blond hair guy is a senior, he graduated (from junior high) before minkyu. in case you're confused, countries like korea and japan have separate junior high (7th grade - 9th grade) and high school (10th grade - 12th grade) :D
so both minkyu and subae met again in high school whereas sunbae is now in grade 12 and minkyu is in grade 10!
