Natsume Kazuki sensei

I feel like their storytelling style is very emotive
The artwork isn't that "stunning" but there's a certain rawness to it that just pulls you in
Her (?) mangas have this balance of angst and romance that is just the perfect blend and one of my personal faves
My first manga of hers was MODS, which I LOVED.
Then I'd been reading By My Side
And earlier today I read I HATE and No Where, Now Here. Personally LOVED the latter.
She seems to be big on the subtle but grand gestures/confessions
As you can see in I HATE; NOWHERE, NOW HERE and Portrait.
This story, although simplistic, just had that lovely subtle but somehow grand confession which is just so romantic.
And the best part is, her characters still feel like men(?). Whereas a lot of (not well written) mangas tend to have effeminate characters (?)
Sensitive characters in touch with their feminine side are great too, when written well, but once in a while it's just nice to read about men who aren't macho or overly feminine. Just regular dudes who happen to like other guys.
TL;DR PORTRAIT is nice, read it
Definitely check out MODS & Nowhere, Now Here!

Pretty accurate description of what I love about Sensei's art style and her way of storytelling.
