I thought that, but then it shows them kind of setting something when arriving. And again when they mention the "thing" they set wearing off.
Well I just got here after a month out. Let's see what's new in the last chapters...
I presumed they were just locating them all so they could easily sneak in and off them all? That and so they could get Sera easy.
Ok, there is something. When the Van arrived they activated some kind of EMP-like artifact that wear off the power of the people around for a limited time.
My doubt is actually about the culprits. They aren't cripple people, they aren't powerless, they DO have powers, and my question is why are they able to use it inside that EMP-like range.
My guess is that either is some kind of inconsistency or they possess quite the anti-power tecnology.
