Yikes. It's pretty shady to try and profit off of translating manga/manhwa without donations from people or holding copyrights to the comics. It's even more shady considering the translations were from other groups/people. Lezhin may cost money, but at least the actual creators get paid from creating work for that site.

Well, apparently they don't. They get nothing from chinese lezhin, have to pay fees that were not in a contract and pay ridiculous amount for not meeting deadline ._.
There's a petition to korean government to solve this issue ( https://twitter.com/kooo_gi/status/939171749102370816)

Well, shit.(/TДT)/ I don't read a lot of manhwa, so I'm not really up to date with Lezhin's issues. I only read their FAQ, which said the creators got paid.

I you are interested in a summary of lezhin issues, you can read it here : http://porifra.tumblr.com/post/168424485685/rough-summary-on-events-leading-to-lezhin-tax
Seems like lezhin is a shitty company who does not treat artists equally. I wanted to buy some comics from lezhin but until issue will be resolved, I won't do it, I would rather pay directly to an artist instead of supporting lezhin.
