That is one of the reasons I don't really like omegaverse. It's like the cruel jocks of high school get a protected class and if someone isn't born in their group, rape is perfectly socially acceptable. Not just rape, but biting and being able to guarantee that person's life is ruined for ever. That isn't romance to me.
Read Kashikomarimashita, Destiny. Nice story, decent main alphas (mostly ). Has other omegaverse stuff, but it's worth the read because it is beautiful. If you already have, you know it's awesomeness.
