Ah, I am so glad I saw your comment. Now, I can go back to reading this. I stopped at the second chapter because the plot was so confusing. Though, I have to admit, even the first chapter seemed disjointed. The switch of time in the first chapter seemed to come out of nowhere. Perhaps I will read this when I have more time to fully digest what is going on. Thanks for the explanation though, it helped a lot.
It's certainly not cohesive and more than a little brainpower went into figuring out this, but it's damn brilliant to reread it (I think ) with that in mind. Makes a bit more sense. Please let me know what you think!

We've just read the stories that were written by author Sensei to, for and about the young man. He wrote their love story in numerous ways, all so he could memorialize their lives (alternate histories and different genres so he wouldn't forget him and honor the young man's request.
