I don't always read the summary but I do check the tags and comments for rape. And if it's not too bad I'll read it. Depending on my mood too. Some days I just can't stand it, other days I can tolerate it better. Why the fuck is there so much fucking rape in yaoi anyway, who decided that?
It's not exactly useful to look for such comments tho. Many people overreact and falsely cry rape when there is none (had that once with a really good manga that showed molesting or sexual harrashment, not rape. nearly skipped it because someone posted a disconcerting comment).
It's better to read it yourself first instead of reading comments beforehand, especially since there can be major spoilers.
(Keep in mind, some people start rape discussions here because of other comments and replies posted before theirs. Sometimes it may seem like they talk about the manga and happenings in it rather than comments. It can be tricky to identify those.)
Generally I look at the cover and the tags, then go straight to reading. If there is stuff I don't like, I can still stop reading. ^^
