The uncle has been out of the closet for a long time already. If you look at the pages where he's telling that he likes his friend, you'll notice that the mother is a lot younger. Her hairstyle is different, too. That was just a flashback.
that's what I'm thinking like at first their family don't like it but since his sister loves him. she supported him, you can see that the brother is a wifey type since he runs to his mother(this time sister) because they have some problems with his partner.
this is a cliffhanger, i expect tht the sister's family knew it already because they say partner rather than gf.
also he seems to not hate kanggo that much than what i expected so kanggo might be the key of him confessing to his friend and them becoming couple, so he didn't hold the grudge.
Also, Also, that can be one of the reason why kanggo isn't shock nor disgusted about OhKa liking him!!!!
