i don't know what the raws say exactly, but maybe he's saying something like, 'i' no good without you,' not in the sense of the cleaning and stuff. but, yeah, i think that this thing needs to happen for 1. to get permanent closure to that relationship and 2. for new guy to realize that if he doesn't get his sh*t together, he's not gonna see that smile...because a good thing is gonna be gone before he knows it. there's gonna be some kind of catalyst in a bl manga...any manga really lol
