That's not how it works in real life...
it's legal in muslim culture! they can take upto 4 wives.....
Yeah, I know I'm muslim, and in Islam each wife must have her own house it is forbidden to have them underneath one roof (unless the man want to be murdered in his sleep) that also includes no group sex, no comparing one with another or favoring some over the others. but some assholes ignore this. Well, only filthy rich people can afford more than one wife. I live in a Muslim country and I only saw one man with three wives, they're all pretty old and the women fight with each other all the time which is pretty hilariouse.
That is the ideal. But in reality do u really think they would play fair between wife´s? I´m going to guess no. Btw i thinks it´s illegal in US to more than 1 wife. I personally prefer 4 husband lol
It's not the "ideal" it's the law in Islam, but of course they can't complain, because no one wants to poke their noses into married people businesses . I'm fine with only one husband.

4 or less IS upto 4.
4 or less, but having 5 is a sin, our prophet had 5 or more wives I think, and the reason he had that much was because his wives ex husband left them or died so he married them so ppl stop judging them, and he cherrished them one by one, that's why u can have 4 wives or less but not 5 or more :) I hope you understand coz my English sucks (￣∇￣")

Upto 4 means - 0,1,2,3,4... Upto 4. It does mean 4 or less because it IS 0-4. It means u can have no wives, or 1 wife or 2 or 3 or 4, but not more than 4 because 4 is the limit.
Maybe he/she thinks 'upto' means 'more than'.. and they already mentioned

A man can marry up to four wives at a time – if only
*He can prove in court that he has the financial wherewithal to support multiple families
*Can treat all wives "equally"
*And has a justifiable reason for marrying additional wives (which may his previous wife/wives are sterile or some other valid reason)
