Being short in a country of tall people I have noticed both pros and cons. I hate not being able to reach those upper shelves and it's a pain when you live on your own (though a great for asking a guy to help) and always a problem in crowds and theaters to see anything. However, unlike tall people, I rarely have to worry about bumping my head into low hanging stuff, not getting pants long enough or beds long enough, greater comfort on planes, trains and cars, and the list goes on. Generally in daily life I find there are pros to being short than tall.
If the MC is a shorty then I'm a shorty too ╮(￣▽￣)╭
