No, the alpha friend always liked the alpha brother, it's why the omega brother writes in his letter that he "stole" his happy family life. We have no clue the alpha friend did developp romantic feelings for the omega brother later.
Hmm can someone pls enlighten me.. so did the alpha friend truly loved the omega brother or was he with him out of obligations and also he did actually like him just not really in the romantic way.. well even if he did love the omega brother when they built a family tgt, after he died, does he wanna be tgt with the alpha brother as like relatives with the brother being an Uncle to his Daughter and stuff or does he wanna ROMANTICALLY be with the alpha brother.. hmm..
