First, I imagined he was an office worker who came back to school or something. Second, an undercover cop. Third, a looney who thinks his grandparents were alive and he is still a teenager. I don't even know why I thought of all these strange things lol.

My first thought was that he could have been someone who got into an accident or was seriously ill and couldn't study in the hospital (maybe because he was in a coma or something), so he's playing catch up now. But then again, some people just don't look their age.
