I'm not sure either. I thought it was either that or he was saying that he was burning up due to having a fever. the one thing that makes me think it isn't a omegaverse is because it doesn't have one of those pages describing omegas, alphas, and betas in the beginning. So I'm more leaning towards the guy having a fever. But I guess we'll have to wait and see in the upcoming chapters. :)
