As someone who married a man 5 yrs older than me I agree. We met right after I graduated HS, but our lives were so different it was scary at first. Things are complicated when there is a major age gap when you meet young.
It seems everyone is hating on the main girl. I don't hate her. In fact , I sympathize with her situation . She's just a high school girl with a mature ,already working handsome, boyfriend. They practically live separate lives . Their world is totally different. I myself would feel so insecure with the fact that my boyfriend 's world has mature , female co-workers that he sees everyday, Who knows? he goes out of town for weeks on end. And it's clear that he feels a bit awkward to be seen with a high school girl and a girlfriend,to boot.
And I hated that he lied about his ex-girlfriend , and the situation he found himself in. Take note the brother had remarked that so many women had already slept on her boyfriend's bed , and the boyfriend didn't deny it.
And he readily agreed to break up with her. If he really loved her, he should have moved heaven and earth to be with her. I mean, how sure was he she wouldn't find another guy ? But it seems it was okay with him.
