That's the draw of horror stories. Good horror will not just shock you with blood and gore, but will terrorize you psychologically and emotionally until it feels like you're watching a train wreck. You want to look away but you just can't. It's the reason authors like Stephen King and Thomas Harris are so popular despite most of their work being really fucked up, and why it pisses me off when people shit on horror movies, novels, and manga by saying their only draw is "shock value" and there's no real writing.
Honestly, I really don’t have any idea why I keep coming back to this Manwha. It is an unpleasant read and I mean that in the best way possible. Reading it makes me uncomfortable every single time without fail yet I still keep coming back.
