Yes! This! This is so horrifyingly dystopian I totally quit it after ....THAT episode. Even tho it should encourage some people to watch more. Humans are the scariest creatures in this anime jic.

there's also neon genesis evangelion, i started watching it now, it's good, it has big rating so i'm guessing it should be really good
do any of y'all know of an anime like attack on titan? like, humanity is close to extinction/being oppressed by some kind of horrifying creatures like titans? and in at least one of the characters, there's a strong sense of justice? *with a male main character (and no romance) ty!
