I suppose the plot goes.....they were friends and then the binding happened by accident in a heat. The Alfa thinks that the Omega hates him for being marked against his will. The Omega thinks that it is his fault that the Alfa was dragged into the mate bound against his will and has to give up on things he could do and in getting things he could get. The Omega refuses to be in a relationship with the Alfa so that the other would be as free as possible while the Alfa won't demand a relationship to respect the Omega that supposedly hates him but both have feelings for each other.
Though I might be wrong since it is just deduction based on the first chapter. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
