Don't you think it's a bit sad for people to have to filter their excitement just because other people have their opinions? I do believe you when you say you don't mean offense, but the way you're trying to protect this person is not right. You and others don't have to like how this person deals, in case like these it's 'live and let live'. A nice day to you too.

Maybe it's cuz I used to be like this, and I suffered, and now I look back and I cringe everytime, wishing someone stopped me. But I get it, I shouldn't project my mistakes onto others, I was just trying to help. I still get really excited about things and updates, but I just ya'know, express it normally now.

Haha, I can sort of see that. I never really even started doing it partly for that reason actually, even though I did feel the urge to a couple times, simply because it feels sort of ridiculous, but also familiar and exciting somehow to express myself through those means. But with how other people view it (and also how some might have taken it a bit far I guess XD), it's just something I didn't really want to be doing either.
Still, I want other people to feel free to make their own decisions in regards to that. Which is why I said anything at all. :3
By the way, now I am actually sort of curious about what those oh so cringy lines where. You don't have to of course, but feel free to share of you like.
In return, I'll try to come up with something that has the double amount of cringe.

BRO I'M CRINGING JUST THINKING ABOUT IT
I would
1) See cute things and say "Kawaii ne~"
2) Say "sugoi" unironically
3) Say "Ite" whenever I got hurt, and it's become so much of a habit that I just mix it with my other asian pain sounds *context: I'm asian, and I like a whole lot of asian shit so it all tends to mix together XD
4)Try and act cute but it was just so cringe
bro I'm digging up my dark past and it hurts omg (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
5)sing vocaloid songs, OUT LOUD
6) force my voice way higher than it originally was, and fyi i have a hella deep voice for a female
7) speak in weeblish (english with random fucking japanese words mixed in)
Wasn't till 7th/8th grade when I realized how FOOKING DUMB I sounded and acted XD I do some of these things ironically now, or if I'm trying to embarrass friends, but I was so cringey back then. I also still shit aloud sometimes cuz I don't give a fuck (which is my general attitude now ( ̄∇ ̄))
I did draw a lot and listen to japanese music (both of which i still do), but that's not cringey, they're just hobby things

Okay, so first of all: I'm sorry my reply is so late!!!! I had exams to study for and to make for quite a few weeks, so while I didn't forget, that's why it took me so long!
Not that I could forget though, your reply really made me laugh. Maybe it's because I'm exaggerating it in my mind, but I sort of imagined nr. 4, 5 and 6 to come together in you going to a karaoke bar or something. Dressed up in a 'kawaii' way or the like, and then you just flutter your eyelashes at a hot waiter or something (trying to charm him of course - possibly successfully *eyebrow wiggle*). And then you go to the karaoke system, picking the cutest song on the list, with like, the highest notes in it - that would even make the soprano chicks with the highest voices say ''gyafun'' - and with one look backwards towards your pick for the night (the waiter) you start singing in the lowest male voice ever!! XD (Like, think of the lowest male voice you have ever heard, and that's you in this scenario XD) And that guy just stumbles and drops his drinks, and you just know that means he is ready to take it to the next level! So you take it up a notch further and sing with the highest voice you can manage to bring out and at the end of that, you give him your number with a blow kiss or something! XD
(Does that sound like something you would do? lol)
Now that I think about it, I think I actually said 'Ite' for a while as well. Like, I'm in general not very vocal about my pain, so most times it would just be in my head, but if I like, banged my toe against a table for example, there was definitely a chance of me just letting one or two roll out. XD
Actually, I've been sort of saying all of those words (and sounds) more now than before, while I'm actually a student of Japanese. X3 Like, it's not in a fangirl-ish way during the lessons of course, but still, having that first association with anime and girls acting 'kawaii' in them, makes me sometimes not entirely sure how and when I should be really using those kinds of words. XD
Like, in Japanese you're supposed to say things/make noises in between when someone is talking to show you're listening. But while making some confirmative sounds are sufficient most times (or I think so, don't entirely have the hang of this part yet XD), other times when I think a situation might warrant it, I will just be like ''SUGOI DESU NE.'' But then the fangirl image pops up in my mind or I wonder whether that was somehow too much praise or something and adding that to me being not skilled enough to always best know how to express myself otherwise, I can only hope I'm not sounding sarcastic or something like that. XD
Lol, what kind of Asian are you? And what other Asian pain sounds are there? Like, do you know the Korean' and Chinese'? X3
Next chapters plzzzzz. Senpai onegai haiyaku
