Yes it was a toxic relationship both of them made it that way it wasn't just one person's fault. What made Miyata a bitch is that he has a current man (even if he is a bastard) and flirted with another, maybe you can say the ex deserved it but that doesn't make you any more pure virgin and less bitchness. But seriously not that there's anything wrong in being a bitch, it's just a story after all.
I think it's just a bit weird that how quickly the uke got over the man he has been in a relationship with for 2 (or, 4?) years, right? Even tho the relationship was quiet toxic but it'd feel more normal if it left the uke with a little bit of trauma/deep sadness or a distaste toward another relationship (with someone who's also a famous baseball player whom he just met for a few days).
