I avoided this manga for so long and I guess this was my fucking reason lmAO. I heard they got back together. Wouldn't it be better if the uke yk, got rejected by both people in the end-- live with his mistakes and realize what he did was wrong and this is what he gets for his decisions. Now he shouldn't dwell on it and make it affect ihim the future, but just reflect on it. Have this mentality where "okay, I'll apologize but I won't date them again because I already fucked up our relationship. So I'll treat the next person better and end this relationship on good terms."
