I wanna discuss the rape issue, but since what's bothering me is in the raws, spoilers below: . . . . . . . . . I must admit I enjoy stories with the "yaoi intake on rape", (such as If You Hate Me So Much or Doushiyoumonai Renjo). But what bothered me tremendously here is how the seme proceed AFTERWARDS. The uke was understandably unstable and nervous around him, lashed out at the seme for, again, obvious reason. And the seme proceed to ignore him and drive him away from his freshly made friends, acting all hurt because the uke put some distance in their "friendship". And when Sasaki tries to talk to the uke, there comes the seme interrupting them bc it's ok for him if the uke is suffering alone but God forbids he talks to another girl. The feeling I got was that not only the seme doesn't see anything wrong with his actions, he in fact believes the uke is wrong one for wanting to put distance between them after all that happened, and thus it's the seme who gets to be the victim, which makes the uke suffer EVEN MORE. And when they get together eventually, it's clear the seme doesn't change/grow up, it's still only the uke following his lead and doing all he wants. So, it's not the rape that bothers me. It's how the seme is manipulating the uke to believe there was nothing wrong in the rape and so he shouldn't act as if he was hurt.
Thank you!Oono is so cute and too precious for such a cruel partner. I wished the mangaka had given him a man deserving. Lovena
Exactly. While reading the raws I kept wishing for the new friend to snatch Ono away and show him how a nice relationship should be.... but sadly that doesn't happen ┗( T﹏T )┛
