Well i’ve Never gave much thought but since you’ve highlighted it, it’s true it does not mirror what happens in the society but it’s a good read and good art as well so i’ll Definitely be repeating it every once in a while
I've read this twice now... LOVE the artwork, and the story is pretty fantastic.
But just like the first time, I find myself pretty much hating P'mew by the end (this is NOT faulty writing... I believe it is an interesting story element). Donut does nothing but dance to Mew's beat the whole time. No sacrifice or accommodation on P'mews part at all... even to the point of dragging Donut to her house with no warning. Not cool. Sorry to say but if this were a real life situation I'd give it about a 4% chance of long term success.
