Kinda with Shin would be truthful about who he is already.

I wish Shin would just be truthful about who he is already. If only to stop all these people from pestering him. I get not wanting to tell the general public, since that would cause a ton of trouble. But at least tell this princess and the other royalty or something.

As it goes now, he'll keep running into people that want to bring him to their side. At least if they knew the truth they would be likely to give up due to how strong he is and how impossible it might be to make him an ally. Plus he could destroy an entire nation on his own, let alone having Snee with him as well. Not the kind of guy you want to make an enemy out of.

    There is a saying, "Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead.". The more people who know the more likely it will spread everywhere. For example that person who was listening in on them so he could report to the king.

    The royal family SHOULD know imo. And if they were smart they wouldn't tell others. Because 1: Having a high human, the legendary owner of the Moon Shrine, in your country is a huge trump card you wouldn't want to reveal to other countries. And 2: If they pissed him off he could destroy the country. (He won't, he's a nice guy, but from the royals' point of view he could.)

    Being unknown Shin could still solve problems and stay out of all the power games. If it becomes known he is a Chosen he may have to do things he does not want to do.

    You mean that he's a high human, not a chosen. ^^;;

    Anyway, he's so strong that he doesn't have to listen to anyone. And the leaders of the countries should realize that if they found out who he was. Snee is already so strong that no one can force her to do anything, and she can get away with not even bowing to the pope or kings. Shin is so strong he could single-handedly destroy a nation as I said.

    Well, i think i prefer if he's identity is kept hidden...Besides he's not omnipotent sure he's powerful but who knws he might still get hurt or even captured if these people finds a way that they can plus him being enigmatic only triggers minor flags that he can easily get off without having him to show off that might risk his identity knwn to the mass and unlike if he's knwn he might get pulled in some larger flags like using him for their own convenience(cuz hes a high human and so op) and whatnot and he gets involved in some political issues etc. that he has to do and to follow this and that cuz it left him no choice, he's been careful all throught his journey as to not get caught for who he really is cuz it seemed that he's smart enough to be aware that what i mentioned might possibly happen to him and made sure that he's effort until now doesn't get wasted for spilling out something unnecessary and also why does he need to hide or runaway? He's free to do what he wants as he's got no obligations to that world whatsoever and moonshrine tavern is his property not the kingdom's and its his right to take it wherever he wants to and if the enemy kingdoms finds out then its not his problem if war breaks out between the two factions we all knw that his personality is kind but even so he doesn't care as i can tell just as much as his partner(the super stoic op elf) doesn't.. Cuz all he's focused at getting HOME back in the real world.

    Thing is, we already have evidence that they won't be able to force Shin to do anything, and that likely he can become a neutral party. Snee is this evidence. She has been in that world for 200 years. And while countries have tried getting her to their side none of them have tried to force her. Or if they did it backfired on them/they failed miserably. Because even after 200 years of all the countries knowing who she was and where she lived, living there as a neutral party is still the same thing she's doing right now.

    So all Shin's actions amount to is avoiding imaginary problems, which in turn creates more problems for him than he would otherwise have.
