Try the lady and her butler. The character is emotionally matured and the misunderstanding is present but not super annoying and the MC are realistic and likable.

Takane no Hana nara Ochitekoi
Warau Kanako-sama (the love interest is kinda the typical teasing guy, but I love the heroine.)
Chihayafuru (not romance focused, but there's a love triangle subplot and the heroine's great)

They're all lighthearted and fun, which doesn't really suit your tastes, but they all have great heroines, in my opinion.

I think there some stories that u may like on my homepage or timeline just pick one.Hehe
