What I gathered from pendulum and the one about their children was that they’re very much in love and even though a little brusque, Juda wants to monopolize him. It just took them a long time to get there.

Omg the ending of ch.9 was so sad Juda sure knows how to hurt people right on their most sensitive spot.
Daato already realized that he already fell for Juda and it's too late for him to back up now. He loves him and already unable to leave his side.
It seems to me that even though they later have children together, they both still haven't convey their love for each other(Does Juda even realize he already fell in love with Daato anyway? Dammit). It's like Daato intentionally let Juda impregnated him during the heat so that he could still stay beside Juda even if Juda would never love him back. At the end of ch.9, Daato thought something like, sorry for making you have to bond with a person like me who is not worth to be your mate, who you will never love. Damn, I cried a little. Juda you idiot!
