Aoi Hana, Sasameki Koto, and Octave are all examples of yuri manga in which there are good male characters. I'm certain there are quite a few other examples, but those three are the ones I thought of from the top of my head. It's more common for yuri manga to not even have any male characters than to have a male character that's a terrible person, I think.
I'm a huge yuri fan but the whole "all men are assholes, and most of the older women..." thing is a little tired. Would love to read more stories that are mixed. Isn't acceptance the point?
