The problem with that is then it becomes the usual series of obstacles, misunderstandings, miscommunication and other tropes. Like the whole fiancee thing. Just add the the usual omegaverse tropes that can make things difficult for a couple. Another alpha or omega enters the picture (for a few chapters) or family won't accept them as a pairing- whatever. But all that is soap opera drama and not that sweet tension that is so hot, which beats trope dramatics any day IMHO.
yea believe me, i’ve read yaoi for years from the crappiest to the best, but i like to keep a positive outlook so i still feel something when i read a new yaoi.

While I'm happy for our MC's, that was a bit of a swift resolution, unless this is only a 2 or 3 ch. long story. Personally, I would think it would have had more of that sweet tension to have waited a bit longer before allowing them to confess their love. Just ordinary daily school routine can be become super hot (no need for fiancés and whatnot) if it had been handled a bit differently. Oh well...
