Actually, despite this being incest yaoi, I have to admit I too find that the relationship is over-emphasized. It kind of defeats the purpose. By constantly going on about it and waving the fact in the reader's face to an unnatural degree, not only does it make the relationship feel unreal and forced, but it desensitizes people to the fact after a while. Often less is more.
