"sex" isn't the glass, "the baby" is the glass, not sure how you thought i was saying that he wanted to be pregnant. He's having the baby, chose to have the baby, but is still acting bitchy that he's having the baby. In the hypothetical situation, the guy saw the glass, chose to pick it up and still acted angry later when he got cut, even though he picked it up knowing what it is.
