Well actually I kind of think so too, can't really call it an unrequited love. And please keep in mind I don't blame anybody here lol. I just feel bad for both parties for not properly confessing to each other but when you think about it, shouta thought he missed a chance and regret his decision for letting go, but mikuni on the other hand, didn't go for him either after that incident :/
That flashback of Mikuni and Shouta's high school life was so short but it was enough to break my heart into pieces :'( unrequited love sure is painful but the regret that follows after you miss a chance is even more heartbreakingly painful
