So what you are saying is that an author's work is compared to another, they should scrap the plot. That's the dumbest thing I read today.
They are plenty of other yaoi that have similar storylines, that doesn't make them bad.
Really now the only thing that brings me back to this story is the art (pleasing to the eye and aesthetic). I honestly couldn’t can’t care about the plot, maybe because I’ve seen it one to many times that I’ve just become immune, but if your (author) readers time and time again say “ah, this reminds me of so and so”, maaaYbe you shoulda drove the plot somewhere else when you had the chance.
