Yes, but in real life...most of the babies got their gender chosen by their parents and doctor because a human body can't handle create/making two type of hormone at the same time..so if the baby's hormone flow more to testosterone then they would choose to keep the boy private area over the girl and get it surgery as baby (is what i learned from documentary videos) but ofcourse this is a manga so anything can happen..and i would love it if this manga has a long series rather than a one shot T_T T_T

no, intersex people can get pregnant. They have the same balance of testosterone and estrogen. Hermaphrodites (they exist btw) can get pregnant
why is it shocking? If you think about it there is a billion of us. Obviously theres going to be people with different gentiles. Nothing wrong with it. Very normal and its not a mutation, otherwise it would have been wiped out already by evolution and natural selection. But instead there always a child born with female and male parts.
Btw in ancient egyptian times, intersex people were seen the higher beings compared to gay men and lesbian women because they can reproduce.

So not everyone undergoes surgery. Properly religious families will. But it depends on the parents you have.
