I wouldn't have minded the time skip if the autor used a good number of chapter later where we can see how the characters resolve their problems. A lot of things can happen in 4 years. They need to talk. They've changed and they need time to accommodate with those changes if they want to work things out. But there's none of that here. They "resolve" their problems and fuck in 2 chapters. I hardly believe that's enough to cover for the time they've spent apart. I mean, they've been apart longer than together. It feels incomplete and rushed.
