it show a more realistic stuff of being a vampire sor someone close to them which is very thoughtful from the author to present the events like this

Basically a vampire loses everything that make them human in order to become a vampire. so yes his life is shit.
unrequited love x2, a vampire tthat doesn't kill *which is ok* , a brother that never knew happiness, and then adam wish? what was it, felt like just last second added....
