I don't feel like they manipulate it. I saw it as they making Heesu realise who actually liked him, cause his bf was clueless on how to show Heesu he could never return his feelings without hurting him. They didn't force Heesu to like Seung Woon, they only help him see that there was another person around and willing to like him from Earth to the Moon and back. And he felt loved, even without realizing at first. If Heesu decides to go to Seung Woon, he wont go cause he is afraid of being alone or just because his best friend doesn't like him back. If he goes is because he learn that he could fall in love for someone else and because he knows that there's a good and friendly person who actually cares, listen to him. Because of all that Woona represents and makes he feels, he knows now that what he felt for his BF wasn't actually real love. He was stuck with an idea that could never be more than that and that also was something that he didn't truly wanted. Sorry thats my opinion hahahahah I got carried away. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
