I can't read this, has the author ever been in a mental hospital? Almost all of the things the patients have in these stories would undoubtedly be taken away, also what kind of regulations are those? Regardless of the country, visitors can't smoke around patients it can be triggering. The mp3s... hardcover books, the EARBUDS?! REALLY? You're not even allowed to have shoes with strings or pants with them either (Regardless of the country almost all mental hospitals follow these basic guidelines) lol anyways good premise but no research was done so it makes me a little turned off from it. My opinion ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Happy someone agrees, mental hospitals are pretty shitty and drives some people CRAZY being in the same place from anywhere from 1 week to a year! Happened to my friend Melanie. Really, if the staff and BHA (Behavior Health Associates) are nice and kind, it can change the whole experience. But this manga just romanticizes it to hell! ヽ(`Д´)ノ

Really? I spent 2 months on double diagnosis unit (addiction & other mental shit) but we had tv, smoking room, and other fun stuff but on the other hand we were closely watched, couldn't go outside alone, and yep, plastic knifes.

Not if you're suicidal but different conditions require different treatments, if someone is attached to an object that helps them deal with their condition, they're allowed to keep some of their possessions. I don't know why you're nitpicking nothing for no reason when it has nothing to do with what the story is actually about...

Actually, no. You can be attached to a lot of things, but if they're against regulation, you can't have it. There was a girl in the adolescent ward who had a stuffed toy, but she wasn't allowed to have it. Just because it may help you, doesn't mean shit. You're at the hospital to develop coping skills and never return. The item can actually prevent that from happening

Basically, a mental hospital is called a "sanitarium". It's meant for treatment to long term illness, like depression.

And guess what, different places have different regulations and exceptions can be made, you do not know the rules of every mental hospital on the planet, you're just nitpicking for no reason.

I am not nitpicking im literally just telling the truth. And regulations change everyday. One day you're not allowed to have pencils and can only write with crayons and that can be a hospital rule forever. In fact, usually once a hospital rule is enforced it stays that way. How am I nitpicking? I literally just said how I felt and you commented. If you don't wanna hear anymore, than don't reply

"Regulations change everyday, but these regulations are ridiculous!" Do you realize how contradictory your own arguments are. You're whining about little, insignificant elements that have nothing to do with the larger story, that is literally the definition of nitpicking...
