Jiwon almost did ruin DG's rep though. He convinced him to have sex in the student council room by saying no one would come in there. He lied about knowing that info just to get his way and didn't account for anyone else maybe using a key to get in. Had anyone found out, the real DG would've been ruined. At least Jiwon had a mask on when DG fucked up during the stream.
And DG never would have seen that picture if he hadn't done the good thing of taking Jiwon home when he was drunk. And then after marathon sex instead of just leaving him on the floor, he cleaned him up and put him to bed... and stayed with him to make sure he was okay. He'd planned to leave right after but Jiwon begged him to stay. The thing is, Jiwon says he wants barriers, but when it's convenient or when he's drunk he drops them. DG was totally wrong, no buts. I just think it's sad that DG is right about one important thing. The stream gets treated like it matters more than everything he endured when if you think about it, Alex can delete his account and still have his life. DG can't just delete what Jiwon's done to him or the way he feels. But DG should have said all of that sober and away from the camera. I think he hit self destruct mode because subconsciously it was the only way he could work up the courage to walk away. They're both messy as hell.

DG is an adult, a naive one at that. DG has a mind. He can think on his own. DG also knew that having sex in the student council room was risky, so you can't force the whole blame on Alex. He could have just firmly said no. DG was worried and happy at the time to have sex with Alex at that moment, so he threw caution to the wind. Of course DG was right about the stream. The whole relationship started because Alex was trying to save his stream. Is Alex messy? Yes, he is. But the only one who messsed up DG's reputation would be DG himself. HE decided to get drunk after being asked to leave. HE decided though drunk to enter the room while Alex was live streaming. Once again throwing caution to wind and risking the chance for the whole world to see who he is. Alex knew he was going to start be cold to DG again so he asked DG straight up if he had feelings for him and DG lied to Alex saying no. If DG just would have said yes that day, he could have exited the relationship without making a fool of himself.

I literally didn't dispute any of this. Putting responsibility on Alex's shoulders for the things he did do doesn't mean I'm taking responsibility off of DG's. You can have both, which is the point of the story. Neither of these two were getting what they wanted because they weren't being honest. That's why they have to change. Because they both aren't really happy with where they are and the arrangement they agreed to. It's almost like there's nuance in there.

Also the whole relationship started because Alex couldn't get DG out of his head. Even after his issues with the stream he was still going to just return the shirt and figure something out. What made him pursue DG was handing off the shirt, and realizing that he wasn't done with him yet. He didn't hook up with DG to save his stream alone or he would've propositioned him before he took the hiatus.
As much as I love DG and dislike Jiwon’s rude behaviour towards DG, DG was literally at a huge fault this time. Dg might try to excuse himself by saying that he was tired of jiwon asking him to have sex whenever he wants but at least jiwon doesn’t ruin dg’s reputation. Dg should have had gone home the moment jiwon told him to since now when he sobers up he’s gonna regret it a lot.
And as much of an asshole jiwon is portrayed as his actions were 95% justified, he had all the right to be mad not just about his show but also about dog snooping around his house and jumping to conclusions about his love life.
