Not really, I think because he doesn't want Furuya to get left out or something? He did admit he never expects Eijun to be ace (or he never sees Eijun as ace) before but I think he slowly changes his perspective and a catcher shouldn't be biased or show partiality to their pitchers. Even if he does, Sawamura will smack some senses back to him lol
So yeah I think they way he acts is normal to me, it's normal to expect more of Furuya as he was the ace (I said 'was' because the numbers are reseted) through spring koshien but if you ask whether he prefers Furuya over Sawamura, I don't think so. Or maybe because it's been a while since the last time I see Miyuki and Furuya battery, I slowly forgot what it looks like (lol)

Don’t you guys think that sometimes Miyuki favours Furuya more than Sawamura? Miyuki seems to have higher hopes for Furuya than Sawamura.. Or is it just me who feel this way hahaha
