While I don't really think of it as a bad fetish either, I can see how someone could be bothered by it. The seme's problem wasn't that tears during sex turned him on. It was that any tears turned him on. I think what really bothered him was the idea of getting off on someone else's suffering. Could you imagine the self-loathing he probably felt if he were to go to a funeral for a friend or family member and get turned on from the tears of the people there? Just like his memory of the rabbit's death as a child, it would definitely haunt him.
