okay soo I think Aki's a dick and he, himself, knows it. So he doesn't want to hurt Haru, who he appreciates but, at the same time, he really loves Haru and he's kinda dependent to him bc Haru has always been there to help Aki. Their bond is too strong.
That is my point of view. Classic tragic story to destroy our asses heh
