The child said it was 200 years old, right? So assuming that it's that old, wouldn't it have been fully grown by now or at least physically grown into an adult? What if the calamity will cause a growth spurt and sudden maturity? What if the child is just naive and gullible because its been stuck as a child for the past few years because something happened in the past?
I don't know though. I'm just pointing out cliche plot points haha (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
