You don’t have to like it or read it this is just a fantasy so basically no real but so many other mangas are same like Finder and 10 count... if you don’t like it there is no need to comment or continue reading don’t torture yourself with something that’s making you feel upset there are so many other BL more lite for you taste hon
this is a legit response and evaluation of the story that you are allowed to have and share here, but if you don't enjoy it, why keep reading it?
why not drop it and forget about it entirely, take the burden off your shoulders, or at least leave it be until the series is completed then binge it and be done?
I feel that way about the tyrant who falls in love but what makes me re-read this one is that the lead seme was truly repentant and i like being able to pinpoint when the love was mutual. Maya was a delinquent deeply affected by his parent's divorce...he was a bi who fell for Negumasa but he sucked at expressing his feelings and he was cruel and violent. He underwent a lot of character development to get to this loving, attentive boyfriend that he is now...Negumasa is about to get his development in the next chapters but I sympathize with his insecurity...Maya is hot af and they really don't match in looks. Maya's actions show love but has he said he loves Negumasa? I don't really think Negumasa knows what it is about him that makes Maya like him so. (Well at least he told his dad they were in a serious relationship...)
I agree with all your points, but the thing is, being totally honest here, what made me keep reading this was 100% Maya.
In the exact moment he changed his hair color.
And that did it for me.
I know it is shallow and all that, but hey, everybody has a type, my type just so happens to be Maya and his hair and the faces he does xD (still think he'd be a great uke).
The guy is so hot I'm willing to overlook the flaws of this story. It really has become fan service at this point, you can see it clearly in the extras and all that.
But I also think the author is trying to bring more depth to the plot, if it's working or not, well... I guess that's another thing.
I don't think this thing will end until the fans let it go.
I really like it, but I also admit I get really frustrated over their cliche lack of communication and Nemugasa's personality.
All in all, I understad your point, and I get that my point is basically me drooling over Maya's hot bod, but hey, sometimes yaoi is just this, more than porn, but less than (real) plot.

I'm actually sure that the author did not expect that this story would become THAT popular.
that everything has started with rape, no matter how many chapters have been published and how many will follow, I find it really hard to like the manga.
Just an exampel: some shounen manga start as gag manga and change to more serious stuff bc of reasons.
That's the feeling I get here, yeah, different genre but I don't know how I should explain it in a different way. Well...
Ok, it's all in the past what happend BUT I can't enjoy the story. And more reasons why it's hard for me to love this work is because the few stories of the side characters have more depth than the story of the main couple and fan service is not enough for me to say in the end "yes, that's a great manga".
I don't need drama to make things work. Maya still isn't able to change himself, Nemu is still insecure, they don't even TALK with each other. No healthy progress.

I know that a lot of you will dislike my comment, I'm fully aware of it but hell yeah I needed to let it out. I will continue reading this manga till the end but I don't expect anything good of it. When the artstyle wouldn't be that nice I think I had stopped reading this a long time ago.
