so she knows what she's doing and what she's gonna do as a heroine. she's a nasty one.
The way the original heroine glanced back at the prince when they passed, I think could mean one of two things,
1) the prince is reeeaaalll handsome and ma girl was checking him out, completely innocent snacc watching
Or
2) she might have been checking whether or not she caught the princes attention, maybe she wants to make him fall in love using her light magic

I think it would be interesting either way, however I personally hope that she is evil cause it will flip the story on its head and I kinda wanna see the mc deal with that
It had been mentioned that in the original, she uses her bird to make the capture targets addicted to her. Not very nice in my opinion.

kinda hard to answer to spoiler comments and keep the spoiler "safe" but have to answer, can't ignore a person (▰˘◡˘▰) and if ur right than - way cool, cause this makes everything more interesting and complex, and i don't feel bad for rooting for Bertina....

yeah, but as her father that's supposed to be evil and isn't, didnt take that to mean that "charm magic" is bad or an ill-omen just loads of info that Bertina remembers but not all is relevant or equivalent to a prophecy...

I don't like the look she gave to Prince Cecil and it's her fault for not being the villaness instead where you can be more closely acquainted with the targets than the heroine who they only just met so TEAM VILLANESS

reading these novels/mangas have opened my eyes to the twistedness of the otome game and the role of the female lead/heroine aka the "player". If you think about it, the player is trying to charm her way into the hearts of multiple men and ultimately go full out pursuit on the one the player wants the most, trying to manipulate things in her favor.
not enough she been called a drug addict? and she's gonna lose her role as a major player?
don't get me wrong i LOVE Bertina - she's freaking hilarious, but hating some poor girl that - unlike bertina - doesn't know what her role is in this manga, let alone that she has a role to play. ur truing her into a conniving baddy...
