Cant assume that just yet.. maybe she doesnt mind as long as Haebom says it himself. She knows that haebom is very dishonest and keeps everything to himself for a very good reason. She worries more about him then his own son because she knows how he is....sort of
No. She minds. It's just easier for her to frame it as Taesung coercing Haebom into an unwanted situation because there's just enough truth in that scenario--Haebom's need-to-please tendencies--that she can project all of her *own* anxieties and likely prejudices on to it to make herself feel better. That's how I read it anyway ;).
At the same time, I don't see her reaction as a "betrayal". I'm sure she saw Haebom as her own son; to find out both of her kids, so to speak, are in a romantic relationship would be an unwelcome shock. Layer on her complex relationships with each of them, and all the rest...it's a lot.
I'm sure she'll come around eventually, but I think for the next little while she won't be as "cool" as we initially thought.
